Currently employed as a site safety manager at Weyerhaeuser’s largest engineered wood products manufacturing operation, located in Eugene Oregon (March 2003 – Present).

 

·         Responsible for all facets of a world class health and safety program.  The site’s safety performance is reflected in the recordable injury rates over the last two years of .89 and .44 respectively---the best in the plants history and the best in Weyerhaeuser for a facility of this size.

·         The Eugene site was a recent recipient of Weyerhaeuser’s highest recognition for safety excellence—the Senior Management Teams Safety Excellence Gold Award.  This is in recognition of reaching in excess of 1,000,000 combined contractor and associate exposure hours without a time loss injury and a recordable incident rate of less than 1.

 

Employed as a field safety engineer with a nationwide carrier of workers’ compensation insurance (2000 – 2003).
